Welcome to KP's Creations! My name is Kristen Peterson, and I'm here to help young professionals navigate their post-college to pre-family lifestyle. It's so important to find that balance once our college days are over and full time jobs are looming ahead. Going from college and a flexible schedule, to a 9-5 job where you're working for the weekend is a tough transition. I'm here to help guide in that transition so you can find your healthiest and happiest self.
I am a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Certified Personal Trainer who also happens to love food (go figure). I started my career path in nutrition mainly because of my struggles in college. I went from always being on the go in high school, to sitting in my dorm room, eating all the “comfort” foods the dining hall had to offer.
This quickly led to a weight gain, a much needed wakeup call, and the need for a lifestyle change. I started working out regularly and became more conscious of what I was eating on a daily basis. This part of my life showed me how much of a role food and exercise plays in all of our lives; hence the reason I became a dietitian and personal trainer.
The only way to grow is to try something new, right? Well try out some of my recipes, read a couple of my blog posts that interest you, educate yourself! The best way to find yourself is to push your limits and throw yourself outside of that comfort zone. Every step you take is another step forward.
